Thakkar Bapa Seva Sadan(TBSS) is registered as not-profit making social, non-religious, voluntary organization has existence at village Garrakhai of the Belpahar town of Jharsuguda district. The organization came into existence on 1st April 1984 bearing society registration number SBL No-950-30 of 1986-1987 with the strong determination and hard work of great Social Worker Ms. Arati Biswas and other likeminded person. The organization was named as Thakkar Bapa Seva Sadan with the name of the great social worker, vocational educationalist, freedom fighter and the follower of Mahatma Gandhi, Sri Amrit Lal Thakkar of Gujurat. Now the organization is getting grant from the Department of Women and Child Development & Mission Shakti, Government of Odisha. After the registration under the JJ Act, the organization is term as Child Care Institution for the care and protection of Child in Need of Care and Protection (CNCP).

To provide a safe,caring ,protect and loving environment for children who are vulnerable,orphanedor abandoned ,abuse as well as strive to make them capable for their better mainstreaming to lead a dignified life.

To provide a safe caring ,loving and a family environment for Children,who are vulnerable,orphaned or abandoned and unde privileged backgrounds. Give a better standard of living and provide good health, higher education and vocational training and make them self-sufficient . We want children to grow up in a safe environment to strong,self sufficient and Happy adults that in the end can contribute positively to society.

Healthy Food

All the children of the institution are looking good and healthy.

Pure Water

Separate latrine and bathroom are available for both the boys and girls. For safe drinking water we are providing filter water to children.

Health Care

Thakkar Bapa Seva Sadan is much conscious for the better health of all the children inmates residing in the institution.

Primary Education

Thakkar Bapa Seva Sadan(CCI), Belpahar is working for the care, protection and development of the Child in Need of Care and Protection.

Residence Facilities

As per the order of Child Welfare Committee and DCPO, we deinstitutionalized the children to their family, relatives, foster family, etc.

Safety & Security

In our institution, there are separate premises for both the boys and girls inmates with boundary wall.
